For undergraduate admission requirement to Egerton University, one has to seek direct or indirect admission. Indirect admission occurs when one already possesses a diploma course and wants to upgrade while direct admission is for those fresh from high schools. 12. Bachelor of Agribusiness Management (AGBM) -Diploma with at least a credit in agricultural related course from an institution recognized by Egerton University Senate OR Diploma with a pass and at least two years relevant working experience OR

13. Diploma in Procurement and Supply Chain Management – Certificate in a Business field with a credit from an institution recognized by Egerton University Senate and having a minimum of grade D+ in their KCSE.

-Holders of Accounting, Technical Certificate (ATC) final level are also eligible for admission

14. Diploma in Business Management. Certificate with at least credit in a Business field from institutions recognized by Egerton University Senate and having a minimum grade of D+ (Plus) in their KCSE.

Holders of Accounting, Technical Certificate (ATC) final level are also eligible for admission.

15. Diploma in Human Resource Management – Certificate with a credit in Business field from institutions recognized by the University Senate, and have a minimum grade of D+ in KCSE.

-Holders of Accounting Technical Certificate (ATC) final level

-A level with at least 1 principal pass and 1 subsidiary pass in relevant subject

16. Bachelor of Commerce -Holders of CPA II OR Diploma holders in Co-operative Management, Banking, Finance, Agri-Business, Marketing, Insurance and Risk Management and Management Science disciplines with at least a credit OR

-A level certificate with a minimum of two principal passes and one subsidiary pass in relevant subjects.

17. Bachelor of procurement and Supply Chain Management i) Be holders of Professional Certificate OR Diploma in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Insurance and Risk Management, Co-operative Management from institutions recognized by the Egerton University Senate and passed with at least a credit OR Diploma with a pass and at least two years relevant working experience OR

ii) -A level certificate with a minimum of two principal passes and one subsidiary pass in relevant subjects

Bachelor of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management – Be holders of Professional Certificate OR Diploma s in Co-operative Management, Banking, Finance, Agri-Business, Marketing, Insurance and Risk Management and Management Science disciplines from institutions recognized by Egerton University Senate and passed with at least a credit OR Diploma with a pass and at least two years relevant working experience OR

Admission may also be offered to those holding CPA II and/or its equivalent OR

23. Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery A level with at least 1 principal pass and 1 subsidiary pass in relevant subjects.
24. Diploma in Modern Chemistry Laboratory Technology A level with at least 1 principal pass and 1 subsidiary pass in relevant subjects.
25. Diploma in Computer Science A relevant certificate from an institution recognized by Egerton University Senate OR

Alternatively, candidates with the following A level passes will be considered.

B in Chemistry, B in Biology with a subsidiary pass in Mathematics. C in Physics or Chemistry and B in Biology with Credit in Physics at O-level Mathematics C+.

30. Bachelor of Science in Applied Computer Science A’ Levels (Mathematics, Physics and another Science subjects) and passed with at least ONE principle and TWO Subsidiaries passes or equivalent examination.

A degree in mathematics from a university recognized by the Egerton University Senate

(c.) Three (3) principal passes in A level certificate or its equivalent obtained at different sittings, provided that the principals are of Grade C or higher; with an equivalent of a B Plain in English Language;

(d.) An undergraduate degree in any appropriate field other than law and a minimum of C+ (plus) in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examination or its equivalent with a minimum of grade B (plain) in English Language;

(e.) Diploma in law of a legal education institution accredited by the Council of Legal Education, with at least a Credit pass or higher.

77. Bachelor of Science in Animal Health Management and Production 1 Two principals and one Subsidiary pass at A level or equivalent, one of which must be in Biology and in any other science subject OR

Those who want to major in Mathematics must have passed the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with the minimum grades as indicated for the following subjects: Physics B- (minus) or Physical Science B (plain) and Mathematics B- (minus). For those majoring in Botany/Zoology and Geography the minimum requirement for Mathematics is C (Plain).

Those intending to major in Geography need to have acquired at least grade C+ (plus) in Geography; a C+ (Plus) in one of the following subjects: Business Studies, Biology, Agriculture or B- (minus) in Physical Science; and a C plain (C) in Mathematics.

For those intending to major in Chemistry and Biochemistry they should possess at least C+ (plus) in Chemistry and in any two of the following three subjects: Mathematics, Biology and Geography

For those intending to major in Physics they should possess at least C+ (plus) in Physics and in any two of the following three subjects: Mathematics, Chemistry and Geography
