Due to planned strike action by the RMT Union, Merseyrail have provided guidance on rail disruption on the Saturday, 8 July, Monday, 10 July and Sunday, 23 July.This follows a strike notice which was issued by the company .
The strike states:
The RMT union, which represents many guards on our network, has announced strike action for 8th, 10th and 23rd July. The RMT is currently in dispute with Merseyrail in relation to on-board staffing arrangements on the new fleet, set to be introduced on the network in 2020.
