Before MGID accepts into their program(Click here to apply for MGID), there are basic requirements that are needed. I am one of those making money through MGID and over a period of 5 years, I have earned $30,000. The basic requirements are:
- Your website should receive at least 5,000 unique visitors per day(You can apply even with less traffic as long as your site is getting constant traffic)

- Your website should have high level domain name like .com
- Your content should be unique and of high quality.
- Your blog should have more than 100 articles
- Entertainment, news and sports niches are easily accepted
- An article must not contain misleading or/and false headline, pictures and videos.
- The website should not facilitate disturbing, gruesome or disgusting content (bloody sores, open wounds, necrosis, surgeries in process, dead people, animals or corpses, crime scene or accident photos, mutilation, execution videos/pictures, innards, sexual assaults).
- There should be no illegal content on a website (e.g.: file-storages, websites, software and browser toolbars, which allow improperly downloading, copying, or playing (streaming) audio guides, e-books, anime, games, movies, MP3 ringtones, music, software, TV shows, works by independent artists and performers, recording studios and other content creators.
- There should be no adult content on your site.
- Your website should have enough organic traffic. Make sure that organic traffic is as high as social traffic or even more.
- All advertising within a website must not exceed 30% of the page content. When applying for MGID, ensure that the banners in your website are not more than 3. If possible, remove banners as you wait for approval.

- Each of your articles should have more than 500 words. Ensure that there is more text than images. Create at least 2 articles with 1,000 words each.
- Make sure that your website has Privacy Policy section which discloses any data collection, sharing and usage that takes place on a website.

Your website will be approved within two business days. After being approved, login to your new MGID account and create a widget to place on your website.
