This means that a member of the ICAEW (ACA) would receive professional support from other leading accounting bodies in jurisdictions such as the USA, Canada, Hong Kong, Australia, Scotland, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, Ireland and South Africa.

The ACA Qualification

The ACA title from ICAEW is internationally recognised as the premier financial business qualification. The ACA is considered as one of the most advanced learning and professional development programmes available in more than 160 countries. The qualification is valued around the world in the business, professional practice and public sectors. In Europe, the ACA is considered to be the qualification that is most likely to get a member the best jobs in finance.

Members of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) can study for the ACA and apply to join ICAEW. ICPAK members are required pass three examinations, namely, Corporate Reporting, Strategic Business Management, and Case Study. A prerequisite to qualify as an ACA, students need to complete relevant technical work experience.
