Deanship of Postgraduate Studies represented by the International Students section offers to assist international students who are unconditionally admitted to the postgraduate programs in obtaining their visas and finalizing their residency procedures and that is in collaboration with the Department of Public Relations & Information. Admitted students who want to get a student visa must submit the following documents to the International Students Section:
- Medical Exam Certificate (depending on the Country).
- Copy of Passport.
- 2 personal photos (4×6 cm).
- Letter of admission to the program (Unconditionally admitted).
- Sponsorship Acceptance Letter/ Contract (if any).
- Copy of a comprehensive medical insurance card. (if required)
- Copy of passport.
- Copy of visa.
- Copy of residency card.
- 2 personal photos (4×6 cm).
- Copy of sponsorship contract (if any).
- Student’s enrolment letter.
- Filled Visa Application Form found at www.rop.gov.om
International students who are conditionally admitted to the postgraduate programs can be given an official visa for a short duration until they succeed in meeting all the admission requirements. And they have to submit the following:
- Copy of passport.
- 2 personal photos (4×6 cm).
- Letter of admission to the program.
- Copy of a Travel Insurance card.
International students can bring along their immediate family members (spouse and/or children) subject to the condition that the student provides comprehensive health insurance for his/ her family members and pays the visa fees and accommodation. The following must be submitted:
- Copies of family members’ passport(s)
- 2 personal photos (4×6 cm)
- Student’s copy of passport
- Family’s Medical Insurance
