Course Durations
Diploma programs – 3 years.
Certificate programs – 1 year.
Upgrading programs – 1 year or 2 years depending on the programs joined.
Postgraduate diploma programs – 1 year or 21/2 years depending on the mode of study.

Class Timings

The institute offers its programs in both regular and evening modes. The class timings each mode of study is as follows:
•    Regular day training programs. These programs run from Monday to Friday from 8.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.
•    Evening training Programs. These programs are conducted between Monday to Friday from 4.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. and Saturday 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

  1. I would like to take a PGD in mass comm. I have a Bachelors degree in Education( English / Literature).

    Is it possible to study online, part time or school based since I’m working with tsc? In short I want to switch to journalism and I am certain this is the school for me.

  3. Comment….am sophy from nyahururu I did my kcse 2017 and I had a C minus…..and am looking forward to join KIMC….. I had D plain in English, B minus in Kiswahili…. and I want to pasue broadcast journalism will I make it.?

  7. Comment: Kindly, can I be able to get a chance to train at your institution having managed to get a mean grade of D+(plus) and left my ‘O’ level in year 1999.and due to life challenges it was an obstacle please this was my dream and i would be glad if considered
