Degrees in Medicine are among the best degree courses to study in Uganda as well as on the earth. Many students get confused on the type of degree to enroll for in Uganda, but I can assure you today that medicine is one of the few courses that can assure you a job anywhere on earth.
Comparing medicine to engineering and law, the former beats them all in terms of marketability and salary. In Uganda, if you are lucky to work with private sector, your salary can be as high as Ush 7 million while those owning clinics and hospitals make in excess of Ush 20 million per month.
One thing that separates medicine from other degree courses is that even if nobody is willing to employ you,you can start your own clinic or pharmacy with ease.
