Kenyatta University Engineering Undergraduate Courses and Admission Requirements

Kenyatta University offers more than 7 engineering courses, which are competitive in the Kenyan job market. Admission requirements to the courses are as follows.

Undergraduate Programmes

1. B.SC COMPUTER SCIENCE:
   Requirements
   Mean grade of C + or equivalent with atleast B + or equivalent in Mathematics and Physics and C + in English or mean grade C (Plain) at KCSE or equivalent with a Diploma in relevant field of study from a recognized institution.
2. B.SC. ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING :
   Requirements
   Qualifications- KCSE C + (plus) with at least B+ Maths and physics and B plain in Chemistry and English or C plain in KCSE with a diploma at least credit or pass in relevant fields of study from a recognized institution
3. B.SC. CIVIL ENGINEERING :
   Requirements
   Qualifications- KCSE C + (plus) with at least B+ Maths and physics and B plain in Chemistry and English or C plain in KCSE with a diploma at least credit or pass in relevant fields of study from a recognized institution
4. B.SC. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
   Requirements
   Mean grade C+ or equivalent with atleast C+ in both Mathematics and English, or mean grade C (Plain) at KCSE or equivalent with a diploma in revelent field of study from a recognized institution. In addition applicants must have obtained grade C (plus) or equivalent in Mathematics and Englishat KCSE or equivalent.
5. B.SC. MECHANICAL ENGINEERING :
   Requirements
   Qualifications- KCSE C + (plus) with at least B+ Maths and physics and B plain in Chemistry and English or C plain in KCSE with a diploma at least credit or pass in relevant fields of study from a recognized institution
6. B.SC. BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING. :
   Requirements
   Qualifications- KCSE C + (plus) with at least B+ Maths and physics and B plain in Chemistry and English or C plain in KCSE with a diploma at least credit or pass in relevant fields of study from a recognized institution
7. B.SC. ENERGY ENGINEERING :
   Requirements

8. B.SC. BIOSYSTEMS & AGRICULTURAL ENGINEERING. :
   Requirements

9. BSC. PETROLEUM ENGINEERING :
